Our two year old program is focused on providing initial learning experience for each child in preparation for early success and school readiness. Through games, art, songs, physical activities and children’s literature, we offer the opportunity for our two-year old children to learn and grow at their own pace. Our program provides developmentally appropriate activities that focus on the social and emotional aspects of a child’s development.

The three year old preschool curriculum is based on the thematic unit approach. Activities and projects are planned to enhance the theme and to introduce preschool skills. Areas targeted by the three-year-old program include language arts (awareness of alphabet letters and sounds), math (numeral reognition, graphing, and patterning), fine and gross motor skills, socialization, following simple instruction, and independence.

The four year old preschool curriculum is based on the thematic unit approach. Areas targeted by the four-year-old program are language arts (including pre-reading skills, alphabet recognition, and beginning phonics), math (rote counting, numeral recognition and formation, one-to-one correspondence, graphing, and patterning), science (emphasizing hands-on experimenting), find and gross motor skills, following extended directions in a group situation, and socialization skills.

Our TK program is designed to meet the needs of children who have finished a 4-year-old program, but do not meet the school district’s age cut-off date to enter full-day Kindergarten. TK is also a perfect fit for children who need extra time to improve their skills and gain in maturity before entering an all day Kindergarten program. Our TK program focuses on teaching beginning reading and writing skills, Kindergarten math skills, social studies, geography, and science. Continued development on gross and fine motor skills are also focused on through various activities.
